Managing Uncertainty and Disruptions in Resource Constrained Project Scheduling Problems: A Real-Time Reactive Approach

چکیده

Resource constrained project scheduling problems (RCPSPs) are complex optimization that aim to minimize completion time after considering limited resources and precedence-related activities with known durations. However, due the dynamic nature of real-world applications, activity durations vulnerable change. In addition, resource demands along availability at any stage a can also vary disruptions, which compel practitioners re-think existing methodologies. Consequently, mitigate conjoint effect those uncertainties and/or this paper proposes real-time reactive approach. To deal uncertain durations, chance based approach is followed, later solved by an advanced meta-heuristic approaches called IGFBIS IGFBID. After solving exhaustive list stochastic RCPSP instances, proves efficacy proposed approaches, proven be more useful uncertainty or disruption while executing real-life projects.
